Geeister Schokoladen­kuchen

Geeister Schokoladenkuchen / torta al chioccolato ghiacciato

This chocolate cake needs a bit more time to do, but it is great! You can make it, when there is time and leave it in the Freezer.

Ingredients for 20 persons

  •  600 g butter cookies (if you need gluten free cookies)
  • 100 ml brandy
  • 600 ml soja- or rice-milk
  • 600 g chopped almonds
  • 250 g butter
  • 600 g brown sugar
  • 12 eggs
  • 120 g cacao
  • burbon vanille


Crumble the cookies. Sprinkle with brandy. Mix with milk. Let stand until the liquid is absorbed. Roast the almonds briefly without fat, set aside.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg yolks and stir. Mix in cocoa and vanilla as well as the almonds and the soaked biscuit. Beat the egg white stiff and pull in carefully.

Grease the needed number of baking-dishes with oil and line with baking paper. Fill in the chocolate mixture, flatten and freeze 3 hours.

Take from freezer 1/2 hour before serving, then slice and serve.
